Intellidyn Corp. and Taylor Nelson Sofres Group (TNS) have formed a strategic alliance to create a global marketing consulting practice offering customer acquisition, cross-selling and retention programs.

Intellidyn maintains transaction, financial, demographic and consumer behavior databases, in addition to providing data management, list and analytical services for clients. The database marketing services firm is based in Hingham, MA.

TNS located in London offers online research, polling and other marketing research services for clients. It's seeking to expand in the retail and telecommunications sectors.

"Intellidyn's data resources include demographic and financial information, while TNS specializes in behavioral and attitudinal data. Together, we can deliver unique capabilities to our clients and extend these to other industry sectors on a global basis," said in a statement Peter Harvey, president and CEO of Intellidyn.
